Every now and again we encounter something so well crafted it changes our perspective, our mood, our worldview. That is what we are reaching for.

timberworks creates objects and places that are graceful, elegant, and built to outlast the moment of their making — testaments to the value of the materials and the time invested in their creation. The things we make leave an indelible mark on others, however small. We want ours to be worthy of that.

We are open to collaboration with like-minded individuals who bring deep inquiry and companionship on the quest for something better. Such projects may include but are not limited to spoons, furniture, landscapes, interiors, altars, parks, and arks.

We work in service to those who are imagining a different future and need a maker to help them realize it — whatever their background, spiritual lineage, training, or aesthetic might be. We take a solutions-oriented approach to the art of living well.
